YouTuber Korty EO has voiced frustration on Twitter due to a disagreement with Davido’s staff.
Korty had first been granted permission to re-edit an old interview with Davido. However, the team eventually withdrew their approval, she alleged.
Korty expressed her worries through a series of tweets:
“They agreed I could re-edit the video, but now say I shouldn’t post it. I’m not one to shy away, but I choose my battles wisely.”
“I’ve filmed many artists who later ask me not to post the video. If you don’t want to be seen authentically, please don’t come on my show. Stop wasting my time.”
Korty also acknowledged that her interview style may be too intense for some artists, stating:
“It’s beautiful that established artists recognize me, but my approach can be too much for some. That’s okay; I’ll keep working.”
A fan questioned Korty’s narrative, pointing out that she had asked the artists to be on her show.
“You putting it out like they begged you…you literally asked them to be on your show”, the fan challenged.
Korty clarified with a tone of insult:
“ode they reached out to me. but you can’t relate cos all you’ve ever done in your miserable life is beg & tweet like the ignorant fool you are.”
