Kanye West dragged to court over gender-motivated violence and assault

Kanye West ordered to pay Ex-Yeezy employees $625,000 after settling class action lawsuit

Kanye West is currently facing legal action initiated by a former contestant from America’s Next Top Model, who alleges that he assaulted her during the production of a music video.

Model Jennifer An has claimed that West purportedly caused her to gag and choke until she lost consciousness.

An, who was a participant in the thirteenth season of the reality modeling competition, has lodged a federal lawsuit against the rapper, alleging that he assaulted her while filming La Roux’s “In For the Kill” music video.

As reported by TMZ, she asserts in the lawsuit that she was chosen from a group of women when Kanye stated, “Give me the Asian girl.

Subsequently, they proceeded to shoot a scene at a hotel in New York City, where she alleges that West commenced strangling her and “inserted several fingers down her throat.”

She claims that the artist known for “Graduation” shouted: “This is art. This is f**king art. I am like Picasso.”

An is also pursuing a lawsuit against Universal Music Group for gender-motivated violence that occurred during the filming. She further contends that the record label attempted to “suppress” the incident.

In the currently available music video for “In For the Kill,” neither An nor Kanye West is visible.

This legal action arises in the context of Kanye West being accused of sexual assault in a revised lawsuit filed by his former assistant Lauren Pisciotta in October.
