On Thursday, the House of Representatives confirmed Lit-Gen Olufemi Oluyede as the Chief of Army Staff.
This came after he was screened on Wednesday by the Joint Committees on Defence and the Army.
The committee Chairman, Babajimi Benson, presented the report in plenary and requested the House to confirm Oluyede, a request granted during the session by Deputy Speaker Benjamin Kalu.
