Demi Lovato marked the one-year anniversary of her engagement.
The accomplished singer and actress, who identifies with she/they pronouns, along with Canadian artist Jordan “Jutes” Lutes, have commemorated a year since advancing their relationship.
On Monday, Jutes took to his Instagram Stories to post a photograph featuring him and the Heart Attack performer during their engagement, capturing a moment of joy as they embraced each other.
“1 year of being engaged to my favorite person,” the 33-year-old captioned the snap. “I’m so lucky and can’t wait to marry u baby.”
Demi Lovato later reposted the image, expressing their excitement about marrying the Sleepyhead singer.
“My sweet angel,” the 32-year-old wrote. “I love you infinitely and cannot wait to call you my husband!!! Happy 1 year of being engaged baby!!”
The couple announced their engagement on 17 December last year, when Demi took to Instagram to share photos from the special day.
“I’m still speechless,” they penned at the time. “Last night was the best night of my life and I can’t believe I get to marry the love of my life.”
“My love, I’m beyond excited to marry you.. every day I’ve spent with you has been a dream come true and I can’t wait to love and cherish you forever,” the Cool for the Summer singer continued. “Here’s to the rest of our lives. I love you baby.”
The former Disney Channel star and Jutes publicly acknowledged their relationship in August 2022.
Demi was formerly engaged to actor Max Ehrich; however, they parted ways two months subsequent to the announcement of their engagement in September 2020.
