Ademola Lookman has vowed that Atalanta will have a brighter year in 2025.
The team, led by Gian Piero Gasperini, claimed victory in the UEFA Europa League in 2024 and currently sits at the top of the Serie A table, aiming to secure their first Scudetto.
In their last game of 2024, Atalanta played to a 1-1 draw against Lazio, in which Lookman, who assisted in the team’s lone goal, was awarded Man of the Match.
“The club had a fantastic 2024, so we want to continue to doing the same thing and the New Year will be better,” the Nigeria international told Sky Sport Italia.
“It was a tough match, the first half was very difficult for us, but we fought and on another day might have won the game.
“We drew, but we didn’t lose, so it’s positive.”
