LeBron James breaks silence after Drake’s concert diss

LeBron James and Drake

LeBron James expressed his excitement for Kendrick Lamar’s upcoming Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show performance on Wednesday, sharing on his Instagram Story that he “can’t wait”.

This comes following a recent incident where Drake threw shade at Lamar during a concert.

In his post, James included a picture from Super Bowl LVI when Lamar performed alongside Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, and himself at So-Fi Stadium.

Writing over the screenshot, James wrote: “He gone kill that!!!! Can’t Wait *Bart Scott voice.”

This isn’t the first time James has shown support for Lamar, as he attended the rapper’s Pop Out show in Los Angeles last year.

Following Drake’s altered lyrics to “Nonstop” at a concert in Australia, James’ social media post showed his anticipation for Lamar’s upcoming performance at the Super Bowl.

In doing so, he changed the lyric, “How I go from 6 to 23 like I’m Lebron?,” to “How I go from 6 to 23 but not LeBron.” The Toronto rapper appears to still be hurt by LeBron James’ consistent support of Kendrick Lamar over the last year.
