During an interview, Grammy Award winner Temilade Openiyi, known as Tems, revealed that she has never had a boyfriend in her life.
The singer shared this information while appearing on the YouTube show “Is the seat taken”, hosted by Chinasa Anukam.
Tems, aged 29, disclosed this fact despite her recent success in winning a Grammy Award for Best African Music Performance in 2025.
During the interview, she mentioned that while she has never had a boyfriend, she does have a “mini boyfriend”, which refers to a casual male partner without a serious commitment.
In her conversation with host Chinasa Anukam, Tems clarified that a “mini boyfriend” is someone with whom she is close and does relationship-like activities, although they both claim not to like each other enough to officially date.
