Nigerian singer Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, popularly known as Ayra Starr, recently admitted that she used to be a social media troll before gaining fame.
The 22-year-old singer confessed that she had a fan page dedicated to rapper Nicki Minaj.
She made this revelation while appearing on the I Said What I Said podcast, which is hosted by Feyikemi Abudu and Jola Ayeye.
“I had a troll page, I had a Nicki Minaj fan page before I became Ayra Starr,” she said.
Since becoming famous, Ayra Starr has been very vocal about bullying from online trolls.
She has been repeatedly trolled over her skimpy dressing and postures. She once responded to trolls, saying her “bad postures” were due to the weight of carrying Afrobeats singlehandedly.
