Celebrity couple Lamiez Holworthy and Khuli Chana recently celebrated a special milestone—the 2nd birthday of their son, Leano-Laone Zion Morule. The proud parents marked the occasion with a stylish birthday photoshoot and heartfelt messages on social media.
The birthday theme, 2Fast 2Curious, saw the family dressed in matching leather outfits, posing on a motorcycle. Lamiez expressed her love and gratitude in a touching Instagram post:
“The leader of our crew turns 2 and you know what?! Leano-Laone Zion Morule is everything that God promised. @khulichana01 WE DID IT Wame..”
Reflecting on her motherhood journey, Lamiez became emotional as she reminisced about the day she gave birth:
“Ke bone bogolo ba Modimo ka ngwanaka.” (I have seen the greatness of God through my child.)
“Here’s to 2 years of nothing but God’s grace—God’s kept promise, my son Leano-Laone Zion Morule.”
She later admitted to tearing up while watching videos from the day Leano was born:
“I’m up watching videos from the morning I gave birth, and I don’t understand why I am bawling my eyes out. Still, it all feels so surreal.”
Social Media Criticism and Lamiez’s Fiery Response
While the celebration was filled with love, a social media user sparked controversy by questioning why Khuli Chana’s daughter, Nia, from a previous relationship, was not part of the photoshoot.
Instagram user @sihle.swagger.khumalo commented:
“Where is the 1st born haw? This is proof that no matter how much a woman will love your kids, there will come a time when they sideline them and not include them in ‘family’ things.”
Lamiez quickly shut down the criticism with a direct response:
“You’re too grown for this, abuti—imagine having to explain that our daughter lives all the way in Cape Town. This was also a shoot for our son’s birthday. All this to U?! Why? O mang? (Who are you?) O tsena kae? (Where do you fit in?) Do better.”
She further emphasized that their blended family is built on love, urging people to stop creating unnecessary drama:
“People like you are pretty exhausting, my love. The kind to take something so beautiful and innocent and turn it into something it is not. It’s all love over here, so heal.”
Despite the negativity, the celebration was a heartwarming family moment, showing Lamiez and Khuli’s deep love for their son and commitment to their family.
