Iyabo Ojo, a well-known Nollywood actress, has drawn criticism for allegedly showing off a fake Louis Vuitton Monogram Camera Box Bag.
When a well-known fashion watchdog, @T20luxury, called out the actress on Instagram and questioned the legitimacy of her expensive bag, the accusation came to light.
Iyabo Ojo’s bag and a legitimate one were compared side by side in a post by @T20luxury, which pointed out obvious variations in the stitching, monogram alignment, and logo positioning.
Iyabo Ojo’s bag, in the opinion of the design critic, lacked the exquisite craftsmanship that one would anticipate from the upscale French fashion business.
According to reports, the bag in question, which costs $8,800 (about ₦14 million) at retail, failed important authentication checks.
T20luxury went on to speculate that Iyabo’s bag might have come from websites that offer premium imitations.
