How Tope Alabi made me avoid Yinka Alaseyori’s songs – Lizzy Anjorin (Video)

Nollywood actress Lizzy Anjorin has once again publicly criticized gospel singer Tope Alabi, revealing the extent of her loyalty to the singer and how it has influenced her personal and professional decisions over the years.

In a recent video, Anjorin explained that her deep admiration for Tope Alabi caused her to distance herself from fellow gospel singer Yinka Alaseyori. She admitted to never sharing Alaseyori’s songs on her Instagram page not because she disliked them, but out of loyalty to Alabi.

Lizzy Anjorin also recounted a recent incident where she supported Tope Alabi amidst controversy, even going against her team’s advice to play one of Alabi’s songs.

“It’s because of Sis Tope that I never played Yinka Alaseyori’s songs on my page. I don’t hate Yinka, but I was just being loyal,” she said.

Lizzy Anjorin also recalled declining an invitation to an award ceremony in Canada simply because Alaseyori was billed to perform.

“I was invited to an award ceremony in Canada, and Yinka was to sing there; I didn’t go because it was not Sis Tope who would sing,” she stated.

She provided what she claimed was evidence of her loyalty by referencing an email from a fan on January 26, mentioning her name in relation to planning a birthday surprise for Tope Alabi.

Overall, Lizzy Anjorin’s loyalty to Tope Alabi has been a significant factor in her actions and decisions in the gospel music industry.
