In a recent interview, Davido praised his wife Chioma for her crucial role during the production of his hit album ‘5ive’.
The album, released on April 18, 2025, includes 17 tracks with collaborations from artists like Victoria Monét and Chris Brown, reaching number 2 on the World Albums chart in its debut week, selling 7,000 equivalent album units.
Davido credited Chioma for providing him with energy and motivation during the recording process of ‘5ive’.
“Shoutout to Chioma, when I was recording the abulm, she was around and gave me the energy to work”, He stated.
Furthermore, the Grammy-nominated singer revealed that Chioma has a favorite song on the album, ’10 Kilo’, highlighting her unwavering support for Davido.
“When I spoke with her two days ago, she’s shifting towards 10 kilo”,He noted.
