Veteran Nollywood actress Rita Edochie has issued a strong caution to her colleagues in the entertainment industry, urging them to be wary of fans who may pretend to be supportive but secretly sow discord within their families.
Taking to her social media platform, Edochie warned that some followers—especially on social media—often instigate conflicts and strain personal relationships under the guise of admiration and concern.
She emphasized the importance of celebrities protecting their family bonds and exercising wisdom when navigating public opinions.
In her words:
“Some fans can make you quarrel with your entire family if you are not gifted with wisdom. Let us be careful, e get why ooooooo.”
Her advice comes amid increasing reports of public interference in the private lives of celebrities, which sometimes leads to misunderstandings and fractured relationships.
