President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is visiting Kaduna State today (Thursday) to commission several major developmental projects initiated by Governor Uba Sani’s administration.
The visit is part of activities marking the governor’s second anniversary in office and highlights key achievements in healthcare, infrastructure, skills development, and transportation.
Among the projects to be inaugurated is a 300-bed Specialist Hospital in Millennium City, designed to improve healthcare delivery across the state. Tinubu will also unveil the Institute of Vocational Training and Skills Development in Rigachikun, as well as major road projects in Soba and Samaru Kataf Local Government Areas.
Additional infrastructure includes the newly completed 24-kilometre Kafanchan Township Road, the Tudun Biri Road, and a 22-kilometre highway connecting Kauru and Kubau LGAs. The president will also commission another Vocational and Skills Training Centre located in Tudun Biri.
In a bid to modernise public transport and promote clean energy, Tinubu will launch 100 Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) buses—part of the state government’s broader efforts to enhance mobility and reduce carbon emissions.
These projects reflect the Kaduna State government’s emphasis on infrastructure growth, improved healthcare services, youth empowerment, and sustainable economic development.
