English striker Tammy Abraham is on the verge of a permanent move to Turkish giants Besiktas, after AS Roma accepted a €20 million bid, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
The transfer will see Abraham, 27, reunite with former Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who currently leads the Istanbul-based side.
Why the Move?
Despite receiving a similar offer from Zenit St. Petersburg, Abraham opted for Besiktas, reportedly drawn by the club’s competitive ambitions and lifestyle preferences in Turkey. His desire to play under Solskjaer again is also said to have influenced his decision.
Abraham’s Recent Form

Although his stint at Milan was solid, Abraham struggled to regain his earlier form after a long-term injury in 2023. A move to Besiktas could offer the fresh start he needs.
