“Stop this silly superstition” – Yinka Theisen Breaks Silence on Breakup With Linc Edochie

Linc Edochie Shuts Down Reconciliation Rumors with Estranged Wife Yinka Theisen

Yinka Theisen, former partner of Nollywood actor Linc Edochie, has cleared the air regarding their breakup, refuting claims that their relationship ended because it was made public on social media.

In a heartfelt post shared on her Facebook page this morning, Yinka addressed the rumors head-on, stating that the idea that publicizing a relationship causes its downfall is a “silly superstition.”

According to her, the only people who can destroy a relationship are the individuals involved — not outsiders or jealous observers.

“First of all, you folks need to stop this silly superstition about people destroying relationships when it is made public. When two people are in a committed relationship, the only people that can destroy it are those two and what they allow,” she wrote.

Yinka clarified that her engagement was not posted without Linc’s consent. In fact, it was Linc who first made their relationship public with her full approval.

She also addressed speculation fueled by online groups like “May Nation,” insisting that no fan base or external party was responsible for the cracks in their relationship.

“There were obvious cracks that I chose not to mention. It was not the first time we had issues. Jealous people are not responsible for the end of our relationship. Linc and I are,” she said.

Despite the split, Yinka expressed no regrets about celebrating the relationship publicly, saying it was beautiful while it lasted. She described Linc as a good man with admirable qualities and added that she chooses to remember the fond memories rather than dwell on negativity.

Her mature response has sparked conversations online about the real factors that contribute to relationship breakdowns, especially in the public eye.
