Investigative journalist Kemi Olunloyo has claimed that Tanzanian singer Juma Jux, husband of Nollywood actress Priscilla Ojo, was denied a Canadian visa by the country’s High Commission in Tanzania.
The development comes as Priscilla and her mother, actress Iyabo Ojo, are currently in Canada ahead of the birth of Priscilla’s first child. The couple had previously announced their pregnancy through a joint Instagram post.
In a Facebook post, Olunloyo alleged that Priscilla’s unborn baby is being carried via surrogacy and suggested that Juma Jux would not be present at the delivery.
“Jux was denied a Canadian visa by the Canadian high commission in Tanzania. He will not be there when Mohbad Mkambala is born by the surrogate,” the post reads.
Olunloyo, however, did not provide further details or evidence to support her claim regarding the visa denial. Neither Juma Jux nor Priscilla Ojo has responded publicly to the report.
