Super Falcons star, Asisat Oshoala, is on the verge of completing a move to Saudi Arabia’s Professional Women’s Football League side, Al-Hilal.
According to The Athletic, the 30-year-old striker arrived in Riyadh on Monday and successfully passed her medical tests.
Oshoala will be making the switch from Bay FC in the U.S. National Women’s Soccer League, where she joined in February 2024 after a successful spell with Barcelona Femeni.
The six-time African Women’s Footballer of the Year played her final game for Bay FC last Saturday, featuring in their 3-2 home defeat to Washington Spirit.
The move to Al-Hilal marks another chapter in Oshoala’s illustrious career, as she becomes one of the latest high-profile African players to embrace Saudi Arabia’s growing football project.
