Veteran Nollywood actor, Yemi Solade, has sparked debate with his recent claim that no Nigerian actress can afford a G-Wagon SUV solely from acting income.
Speaking in a recent interview, Solade argued that the film industry does not generate the kind of money needed to fund such luxury purchases.
“No actress can say she bought her G Wagon from the money made from acting because how much do they earn?” he said, insisting that those who own the vehicles must have other sources of income outside acting.
His comments have since stirred mixed reactions online, with many weighing in on the financial realities of Nollywood stars.
