Popular Nigerian singer, Young Jonn, has opened up about his love life, revealing that he is not ready to commit to one woman at the moment.
Speaking on the Way Up podcast hosted by Angela Yee, the 30-year-old Dada hitmaker explained that he currently prefers “platonic” connections over serious relationships.
“Everybody loves love. I mean, love is wonderful. But, I’m not really in that space where I can give so much of me to one person. So, I’m just keeping it platonic with everybody,” he said.
Young Jonn stressed that he doesn’t want to put anyone in a difficult position since he feels unable to fully give himself to a partner right now.
“I don’t want a serious relationship right now. Because I feel like I won’t be able to give that person as much as I’m supposed to. So why put them in that situation?” he added.
Young Jonn comments come shortly after reports that his rumored relationship with Davido’s cousin, Adenike Adeleke, popularly known as Nikos Living, had ended.
The two sparked dating speculations in early 2024 after Nikos posted photos and videos of them together, but by August 2025, signs of a breakup surfaced when they unfollowed each other on social media and deleted their pictures.
