Demi Lovato is serving her fans—known affectionately as the #Lovatics—both music and food in the months ahead.
Fresh off the release of her new single Here All Night, the follow-up to Fast (hailed as her official return to Pop after 2022’s Rock-driven Holy Fvck), the singer has announced her ninth studio album It’s Not That Deep.
The project, executive-produced by Zhone,on will arrive October 24 via DLG Recordings/Island Records.
In a press statement, Lovato explained:
“This music is a perfect reflection of where I’m at today. With my past eras, I often wrote cathartic music about heavy topics that I needed to process. This time, those songs weren’t resonating because I’m not in that place anymore. I’m happy, I’m in love, and I just want to enjoy life and have fun. I realized it’s not that deep anymore, and that became the ethos for this album. It’s Not That Deep is meant for late nights and dancefloors, and I can’t wait for you all to dance with me.”
The 11-track set comes just five months before another major offering from Lovato: her debut cookbook One Plate at a Time.
Published by Flatiron Books and due March 31, 2026, the book features more than 80 recipes spanning breakfasts, comfort foods, soups, salads, and easy weeknight dinners. It’s already available for pre-order.
With a new album and a culinary debut on the way, 2025 and 2026 are shaping up to be a feast of music and flavor for Demi Lovato’s global fanbase.
