Rudeboy Threatens Legal Action After Social Media User Accuses Him of Misconduct

Singer Rudeboy warns Nigerian men, says “Stop marrying broke women”

Nigerian music star Paul Okoye (Rudeboy) has vowed to take legal action after a social media user levelled damaging allegations against him involving a member of his domestic staff.

The controversy ignited after photos from the 25th birthday celebration of Rudeboy’s wife, Ivy Ifeoma, circulated on X (formerly Twitter). One account, @Zoyabloms, mocked the couple’s age gap, and another user, @darkskinnedtemi, amplified the thread with more serious accusations.

The situation escalated when @chubbiedivah posted claims suggesting Rudeboy had been involved with his housemaid and alleging the helper was underage at the time. That post also accused him of expelling his then-wife and sister-in-law after the matter was raised.

Responding quickly, Rudeboy told followers he would track down and punish the account holder, writing:

“I hardly reply, but you see this one @chubbiedivah, if you like go private or leave X, I will find you, I will use every necessary means, power, resources and money.

“You will face the law, I will use you to set an example, a scapegoat. Your only way out is to leave the surface of this earth and relocate to space. To everyone that brought my attention to her tweet, thank you.”

Shortly after his post, the account in question deactivated both its X and Instagram profiles, apparently to avoid further fallout. Rudeboy’s fans alerted him to the accusation, and his strong public reaction has since dominated the conversation.

As of now, Rudeboy has not filed a public suit, and the accused user has not issued a statement. Would you like this written with a more legal-analysis angle (focusing on defamation and next steps) or kept as a straight entertainment/news update?
