Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter era may have wrapped, but the headlines keep coming. After boosting Levi’s revenue with her high-profile ad campaign, the superstar now finds herself at the center of fresh controversy.
The American Family Association (AFA), via its OneMillionMoms platform, has launched a petition calling for Levi’s to pull several of Bey’s commercials — including Launderette, Refrigerator, and Pool Hall.
In their statement, the group slammed the ads as “distasteful,” “vulgar,” and “harmful to young children,” criticizing scenes of Beyoncé in micro-shorts, tight denim, and underwear. They argue the visuals “send youth the wrong message” and rely on “shock value” rather than style.
The petition has already gained over 13,000 signatures and continues to climb, though neither Beyoncé’s team nor Levi’s has responded publicly.
Despite the backlash, Levi’s reported a major bump in sales linked to the partnership, proving Queen Bey’s cultural and commercial power remains undeniable.
