‘Gift to myself’ Zicsaloma buys mansion in Lagos to mark his birthday

Popular Nigerian comedian and skit maker, Zic Saloma has opened up about his decision to undergo nose surgery, saying the procedure was driven by years of insecurity over his appearance.

In a video shared on his Instagram page, the entertainer explained that he had lost multiple opportunities in the entertainment industry because of how he looked, leading him to opt for cosmetic surgery to enhance his self-image.

“I decided to undergo nose surgery because I wasn’t comfortable with my appearance. I had lost several job opportunities in the past because of how I looked. If you can afford cosmetic surgery, do it. If it will make you feel better, go for it,” Zic Saloma said.

Zic Saloma, who previously revealed that he had rhinoplasty in Turkey, noted that the operation lasted over four hours and included a facelift and eye rejuvenation.

Although the full procedure cost about $11,000, the skit maker clarified that he didn’t pay for the surgery as it was part of a collaboration with the hospital.

The comedian, known for his multi-character performances and witty skits, said the transformation has significantly boosted his self-confidence and made him feel more comfortable in his skin adding that he is now ready to take on new opportunities in the entertainment industry.
