The executors of Michael Jackson’s estate have revealed that the late pop legend’s daughter, Paris Jackson, has received approximately $65 million in benefits since her father’s death in 2009.
The disclosure came in a court filing on October 9, 2025, submitted by the estate’s executors, John Branca and John McClain, in response to a petition filed by Paris in June. In her petition, the 27-year-old had questioned several payments made by the estate — particularly the justification for large legal fees.
In their filing, Branca and McClain defended their management of the estate, highlighting the substantial financial gains Paris had received under their stewardship.
“Few have benefited more from the Executors’ business judgment than Petitioner herself,” they wrote, arguing that Paris would not have received such wealth had they followed a “typical playbook” for managing an estate that was $500 million in debt at the time of Jackson’s death.
The executors credited their leadership for transforming Jackson’s once debt-ridden finances into a $2 billion estate, describing it as a “powerhouse” in entertainment.
Paris’s petition had specifically challenged a $625,000 payment to three law firms for work done in 2018, calling it a “lavish gratuity” and claiming it included unrecorded attorney time.
However, the executors defended the fees, stating the attorneys’ contributions were vital to the estate’s success and that the bonuses were minor compared to the estate’s overall revenue.
In a related matter, the estate is currently facing $400 million in damages sought by Wade Robson and James Safechuck, who accused Jackson of sexual abuse — allegations that the estate continues to contest. The executors warned that halting payment of legal fees could have “profoundly destabilizing consequences” for the estate’s defense.
On a lighter note, Paris recently made headlines for reuniting with her aunt, Janet Jackson, during Paris Fashion Week, ending years of speculation about tension within the Jackson family.
Paris Jackson, the only daughter of the Michael Jackson, is the younger sister of Prince (28) and Bigi (23) Jackson.
