Nollywood actress Angela Okorie has reacted to reports surrounding the alleged marital crisis between her junior colleague, Regina Daniels, and her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko.
Creebhills earlier reported that Regina Daniels had cried out in a viral video over alleged domestic violence in her marriage.
In the clip, the actress appeared distressed while her brother confronted men believed to have been sent by her husband.
Following the video’s circulation, Angela Okorie took to her Instagram story to address the confusion after being mistakenly tagged by some social media users who thought she was the woman in the footage.
She humorously wrote:
“Nigerians, na me dem beat for Ferrari and Private jet house with 8 wives?
Why una dey tag me kwanu?
Oh, chim Angela.”
In another post, Angela expressed gratitude, simply writing:
“God is good. Somebody say all the time.”
This reaction comes amid renewed public concern for Regina Daniels, who has yet to make an official statement regarding the viral incident.
Recall that Angela and Regina were previously involved in an online exchange earlier this year after Angela accused Mercy Johnson of wrongdoing. During an Instagram live session, Angela claimed to have forgiven Mercy after hearing she was ill, urging her to seek forgiveness as well.
Regina, defending Mercy, fired back at Angela and called her “mad,” adding that she and Mercy Johnson “don’t forgive.”
Their exchange at the time caused a social media stir, drawing mixed reactions from fans and colleagues.
As of now, Angela’s latest comments seem to reflect a more reflective and calm stance amid the renewed controversy involving Regina Daniels and Senator Nwoko.
