Kanye West Sells $14 Million Wyoming Ranch Back to Original Owners

Kanye West

Kanye West has sold his $14 million (₤10.4 million) Wyoming ranch, Bighorn Mountain Ranch, back to its original owners, Greg and Pam Flitner. The 6,700-acre property has officially returned to the family who first sold it to the rapper in 2019.

Reports indicate that the ranch had fallen into significant disrepair during Kanye West’s ownership. He purchased it shortly after acquiring the nearby Monster Lake Ranch, where he planned to build futuristic domes aimed at tackling homelessness. However, those plans were abandoned following his split from Kim Kardashian and the controversy surrounding his antisemitic remarks in 2022. Monster Lake Ranch is currently listed for sale at $12 million (₤8.9 million).

Speaking to Cowboy State Daily, the Flitners confirmed the property’s poor condition but expressed no hard feelings toward Kanye West.

“I think his original intent for the Mountain Ranch might have been somewhere that his family could go and be away from the rest of the world,” Pam said.

Greg added,

“A lot of people have said that he was a really, really good guy and that he was really on task a lot of the time. So, none of us can fault him at all for buying it and trying to get something accomplished for himself.”
