Nollywood actress Biodun Okeowo has vowed to take action after a man called her a “thief” in the comment section of her Instagram post advertising a landed property.
The controversy began when Okeowo shared a video promoting the property and — according to several followers — mistakenly stated the price as ₦50 million. Some fans pointed out that fellow actress Biola Bayo had earlier advertised the same plot and listed it at ₦40 million.
A user then accused Okeowo of dishonesty, calling her a thief in the comments. The actress reacted swiftly and angrily, addressing the commenter directly on her page.
“That guy sitting beside aunty Jaiye kuti just called me a thief. On top a property he doesn’t even know the real owner.
I’m going to use you as a scapegoat. You must prove that I’m a thief else,” she wrote.
The exchange drew attention from followers, with some defending Okeowo and others asking for clarification about the discrepancy in the advertised prices. As of press time, neither Okeowo nor the commenter had provided further public evidence to support their positions.
