American rapper Nicki Minaj has raised alarm over the growing persecution of Christians worldwide, warning that it is dangerous for the world to ignore ongoing acts of religious violence.
Nicki Minaj also commended U.S. President Donald Trump and his team for designating Nigeria as a “country of particular concern” over violations of religious freedom.
In a post shared on X (formerly Twitter) on Saturday, the rapper said she felt deeply grateful to live in a nation where freedom of worship is protected, emphasizing that no group should ever be targeted for their faith.
“Reading this made me feel a deep sense of gratitude. We live in a country where we can freely worship God.
No group should ever be persecuted for practicing their religion. We don’t have to share the same beliefs in order for us to respect each other.
Numerous countries all around the world are being affected by this horror & it’s dangerous to pretend we don’t notice.
Thank you to The President & his team for taking this seriously. God bless every persecuted Christian. Let’s remember to lift them up in prayer.”
Minaj’s comments have drawn widespread reactions online, with many applauding her for using her platform to advocate for global religious tolerance and human rights.
