Nigerian forward Ademola Lookman has once again unfollowed Atalanta on social media and removed references to the Italian club from his posts, sparking renewed speculation about tensions behind the scenes.
The latest move follows a touchline altercation between the player and Atalanta head coach Ivan Juric during their UEFA Champions League clash with Olympique Marseille on Wednesday.
Lookman, who appeared frustrated after being substituted with 15 minutes left to play, reportedly exchanged heated words with Juric before being separated by staff members.
This is not the first time the Nigerian international has taken such action. Earlier in the summer, the striker unfollowed Atalanta while protesting the club’s refusal to sanction a move to Inter Milan for less than €50 million.
