A tense moment unfolded on the red carpet at the Singapore premiere of Wicked: For Good when a man breached security and rushed toward Ariana Grande, prompting swift action from her co-star Cynthia Erivo.
The incident occurred Thursday (November 13) at Universal Studios Singapore, where Ariana Grande was greeting fans alongside Erivo, Michelle Yeoh, Jeff Goldblum, and director Jon M. Chu. According to circulating footage, the intruder jumped the barricade and wrapped his arm around Grande before Erivo stepped in, pushing him away as security restrained the man.
Yeoh and Erivo were later seen consoling a visibly shaken Grande while fans called out to ensure she was safe.
The man was later identified as online personality “Pyjama Man,” who posted a video bragging about the stunt and describing himself as a “troll” known for disrupting celebrity appearances.
Despite the alarming interruption, the cast continued with the evening’s events as they prepare for the film’s global release on November 21.
