Comedian and actor Woli Arole has responded to frequent questions from fans about his decision to keep his family largely out of the public eye.
Taking to Instagram, the popular skit maker clarified that his marriage was never meant to be a spectacle for social media or a tool for online validation.
According to him, the foundation of his marriage is companionship, not public display or constant posting.
“I didn’t marry for posting. I married for companionship,” he wrote.
Woli Arole further advised his followers to understand that personal life does not have to be documented online to be meaningful. He stressed that social media should not define how people live or relate with one another.
“Not everything about your life should be public. Abeg. What if there was no social media, won’t you live?” he added.
Woli Arole comments have since sparked conversations about privacy, boundaries, and the pressure many public figures face to constantly share personal moments online.
