Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has intensified her public dispute with Pastor Chris Okafor, founder of the Mountain of Liberation and Miracle Ministry, by calling on Nigeria’s Department of State Services (DSS) to intervene and investigate his church.
Ogala made the call during a recent appearance on the KAA Truths podcast, where she alleged that security authorities should examine what lies beneath the church altar. According to her, a proper investigation is necessary to address lingering concerns and “clear the air.”
Her comments come amid a prolonged fallout between the actress and the clergyman, which she claims began over a marriage promise that was allegedly made but never fulfilled.
During the podcast, Ogala alleged that a tragic incident occurred while constructing the church altar. She claimed that the structure collapsed at a point, leading to the death of an individual. She further alleged that a blogger later noticed something unusual at the site, which reportedly raised serious concerns.
According to Ogala, the discovery allegedly prompted Pastor Okafor to contact her privately, seeking advice on how to handle the situation and allegedly asking how the blogger could be silenced.
Insisting on the need for official intervention, the actress urged the DSS to visit the church, dig up the altar area, and conduct a thorough investigation.
“DSS should go to that church and open his altar. I wouldn’t say further than that. When they were building that place, that place collapsed, somebody died,” she said.
“Apart from somebody dying, there is a blogger that found something on the ground. This man was begging, he called me and asked me what he could do to let the blogger close his mouth. DSS should go and open that altar. The church altar where he used to stand, they should dig it up and open it.”
In recent times, Doris Ogala and Pastor Chris Okafor have been involved in multiple public confrontations, with the actress previously sharing personal videos and allegations online, further fuelling the controversy.
