Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Paul Enenche, has dismissed claims that he uses church funds to support his personal lifestyle.

Speaking during a church service on Sunday, Enenche addressed the allegations directly, calling assumptions that link his personal items to church finances “mumu-ishness of sense.”

Enenche clarified that neither he nor his family has ever had access to the church’s cheque book since the ministry’s founding in 1996. He added that proceeds from church materials, including CDs and books, are never used for personal needs.

“From day one till now, the church cheque book has not been in our possession. Not one naira from my devotionals or CDs has been used to buy a tie or socks—how much more church offerings?” he said.

The pastor further explained that his personal needs are met without relying on church funds and emphasized his detachment from material possessions.

Many gifts, including shoes and clothing, have either remained unused or have been given away. “I gave out about 200-and-something suits in one day. Go, it’s enough,” he added.

Enenche urged church members to focus on spiritual matters rather than material things.

“Let’s stop living for things and start living for God and the kingdom. When you do, the things people are chasing will start chasing you,” he said.

Dunamis International Gospel Centre, headquartered in Abuja, operates the Glory Dome, its main auditorium, and has branches in Nigeria and abroad.
