Terem Moffi Moves to Terminate OGC Nice Contract After Fan Assault

Super Eagles striker Terem Moffi is reportedly seeking to terminate his contract with French Ligue 1 side OGC Nice following a violent incident involving club supporters.

The 26-year-old Nigerian forward was assaulted by Nice fans in November 2024 after the club’s 3-1 defeat to Lorient. According to reports, Moffi and teammate Jeremie Boga were punched, kicked, spat on, and subjected to racist abuse, with some of the attacks allegedly directed at their genitals. Moffi featured for the full 90 minutes in the match, while Boga came on as a substitute.
