Reality TV star Josephina Otabor, popularly known as Phyna, has alleged that Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has distanced herself from her because of her association with social media activist Martins Otse, widely known as VeryDarkMan (VDM)
Speaking during a recent livestream with her followers, Phyna said Iyabo Ojo, whom she fondly refers to as “mama,” was previously very supportive of her online, often liking and commenting on her social media posts.
However, according to the former Big Brother Naija winner, that support has noticeably declined, and she believes her connection with VDM is the reason.
“I feel mama doesn’t like me that much again because before she used to comment on my posts and like them. Now she no longer does, and I’m very sure it’s because of that dirty boy,” Phyna said.
She further claimed that the situation affected her relationships with others online and even led to conflicts with VDM-linked influencers.
“I even went as far as attacking Vee Iyele because of that dirty boy,” she added.
Phyna explained that the perceived shift in Iyabo Ojo’s attitude has had a broader impact on her social media interactions, contributing to misunderstandings and public disagreements.
VeryDarkMan, whose real name is Martins Otse, is a controversial online activist known for his frequent clashes with celebrities and public figures.
Iyabo Ojo has not publicly reacted to Phyna’s comments as of the time of this report.
