American rapper Cardi B has responded to critics who questioned her commitment to touring after giving birth, revealing that every stop on her ongoing Little Miss Drama Tour has been sold out.
The 33-year-old welcomed a baby boy with NFL star Stefon Diggs in November and kicked off her tour on February 11, just three months after childbirth.
Taking to X, the “WAP” hitmaker said doubters predicted she would not fully commit to the tour following the birth of her child.
“The fact of the matter is, so far every single show of mine has been sold out. Packed from top to bottom! They said I wasn’t gonna commit after I gave birth, they said I wasn’t gonna take it seriously, but I take it very seriously,” she wrote.
Cardi B added that she performs for two hours at each show without complaints and treats her concerts like celebratory parties with fans, which she believes contributes to receiving genuine reviews from attendees.
In a separate social media video, the rapper emphasised that she understands the value of money and is committed to delivering a worthwhile experience for fans.
“There was a lot of haters… saying, ‘She’s not going to be ready. She just gave birth,’” she said, adding that she would never “play” with her fans’ money.
Cardi B, who also shares children with her estranged husband Offset, stressed that she appreciates the effort fans make to purchase tickets.
“I know y’all working hard for your money. If you’re spending it on my show, I’m gonna give you a hell of a time,” she said, reiterating that she gives every performance her full energy regardless of fatigue.
Cardi B concluded that she remains grateful for her supporters and is determined to ensure they get full value for their money at every show.
