American singer Pink has dismissed reports claiming she and her husband, Carey Hart, have ended their marriage.
Several media outlets had alleged that the couple, who have been together for over two decades, had called it quits. However, Pink addressed the speculation directly in a post on Instagram.
“So I was just alerted to the fact that I’m separated from my husband. I didn’t know! Thank you for letting me know. Would you also like to tell our children? Fake news. Not true. I love you all. Go with God,” she wrote.
The couple share two children — daughter Willow Sage Hart, born in 2011, and son Jameson Moon Hart, born in 2016.
Rumours about their relationship had intensified following a reflective Instagram post Pink made on December 31, in which she revealed she spent New Year’s Eve in hospital awaiting neck surgery while her family went snowboarding. At the time, she described 2025 as a challenging year, saying she was leaving behind her hurt.
Pink and Hart first met in 2001 at the Summer X Games. They got engaged in June 2005 and married in Costa Rica in January 2006. The pair previously separated amicably in 2008, with Hart even appearing in the music video for Pink’s hit song So What, which was inspired by their split. They later reconciled in 2009.
Over the years, Pink has been candid about the realities of marriage. In a 2020 Instagram post, she described their relationship as “awful, wonderful, comfort and rage,” adding that it is their “relentless and stubborn idealism” that has kept them together.
