Pop star Justin Bieber reportedly threw a water bottle at paparazzi after stepping out for dinner with his wife, Hailey Bieber.
The singer and the model had just finished dinner at the celebrity hotspot Sushi Park over the weekend when the incident occurred.
According to reports, Bieber was not interested in being photographed as the couple left the venue. A video obtained by TMZ showed the singer covering his face with his arm while entering a parking garage as camera flashes went off around them. The couple then got into their waiting car.
Moments later, Bieber reportedly threw a half-empty plastic bottle of water toward paparazzi from over the top of the car.
During the brief confrontation, a man was heard telling photographers to “make some room” and to “back up.”
Earlier in the day, the couple had stepped out for lunch at South Beverly Grill.
The confrontation is not the first time Bieber has reacted to paparazzi. In June last year, the singer was involved in a heated exchange with photographers while leaving Soho House Malibu.
During the confrontation, Bieber expressed frustration at being followed and photographed.
“You’re not getting it,” he yelled. “I’m a human f**king being, you’re standing around my car, at the beach! You know what I’m saying?
“I’m at my wits’ end is what I am at,” he added. “I’m demanding respect. You confuse my anger with disrespect. It’s anger because you’re disrespecting me. You don’t get to disrespect me and get away with it.”
