Things have taken a dramatic twist in Lagos as actress Funmi Bank Anthony and controversial actor Uche Maduagwu were reportedly involved in a physical altercation following their escalating public feud.
What began as an online war of words and legal threats has now reportedly spilt offline, intensifying attention around the growing dispute.
The tension between both actors had been brewing after Funmi Bank Anthony slammed allegations allegedly made by Maduagwu linking her to the rumoured fallout between actresses Funke Akindele and Toyin Abraham.
Angered by the claims, the actress had earlier filed a 100 million naira lawsuit against Uche Maduagwu, accusing him of spreading falsehoods and damaging her reputation.
Before the reported confrontation, Funmi shared a strongly worded video, distancing herself from the controversy and questioning why her name had been dragged into the matter.
“I never wanted to do this video before but my DM is full with curses. Uchennadu, do I know you? Have I ever met you or seen you before? Did we go to the same secondary school? Where do I know you?” she said.
Clearly frustrated, she denied having any role in the alleged celebrity rift and warned the actor to pull down the post or face legal consequences.
“The most painful part is some people actually believed him and they started entering my DM to curse me… I give you from now till tomorrow to bring down that false post else you will hear from my lawyer,” she added.
Despite the warning and lawsuit, the dispute appears to have worsened rather than eased, with reports now claiming both stars were involved in a physical clash in Lagos.
