Reality TV couple Patrick Mendes and Thais Ramone are reportedly heading for divorce after four years of marriage.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Patrick has officially filed for divorce. He is requesting sole legal custody as well as primary physical custody of their three-year-old daughter, Aleesi.
The filing reportedly states that the child has been living with Patrick since May 6.
Patrick also listed a different residence from the home he previously shared with Thais, further confirming the separation.
Court documents reportedly revealed financial details of the split, with Patrick claiming he earns approximately $10,000 per month and Thais approximately $5,000 per month.
Despite the income difference, Patrick is not seeking either child support or spousal support from her.
However, he is requesting ownership of several shared assets, including their Honda Ridgeline, an $8,000 Fidelity 401 (k) account, and even their Tempur-Pedic mattress.
Fans of 90 Day Fiancé watched the couple’s relationship develop publicly before they later appeared on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?.
Ironically, the pair are also expected to appear on 90 Day Fiancé: The Last Resort, the franchise’s couples-therapy spinoff focused on troubled relationships.
According to the filing, the reason for the breakup was listed as “incompatible.”
A representative for the couple later addressed the situation in a statement shared with TMZ, urging the public not to rush to conclusions.
“Domestic matters can be deeply emotional and complex, and we encourage compassion, privacy, and due process for all parties involved,” the statement read in part.
The representative also added that the priority remains ensuring everyone involved is “safe and supported” during the ongoing situation.
