Afrobeat female singer and songwriter, Yemi Alade celebrates her mother as she noted the sacrifice she made for her while growing up.

African parents as popularly known don’t take their children for granted and can go
extra miles just to make sure they become the best among the rest.
This was the case of Yemi Alade’s mother who had to sacrifice all the goodies that
comes with travelling on plane just to pay her child’s school fees.
Yemi Alade who was not taken the move for granted took to her Instagram Page to celebrate her mother for role she played in her upbringing.
According to Yemi Alade, her adorable mother had to sell her economy class tickets just to pay her primary six school fees.
Sharing an adorable picture of herself alongside her mother on IG, she wrote:
London is more than just a City to my family, it Marks a time in our lives(20yrs ago) when mum had to sell her Economy class ticket to pay my Primary 6 school fees.
Today we Fly Business Class!??✈✈ #Next Stop #amsterdam??

Though it’s 20 years later that Yemi Alade celebrates her mother for the sacrifice she
made for her at her tender age, the ‘Johnny’ crooner have not been shy in flaunting her
Yemi Alade have in the past spoken some sweet words about her mother whom she has always regarded as her backbone.
The singer and songwriter dominance in the entertainmemt industry have also
continued this year as she has gone on to dish out some hot and hit singles.
Yemi Alade recently released the visuals for her single, ‘Remind You’ which she featured legendary actor, Djimon Hounsou.
She also took her game to another level by featuring multiple Grammy Award winner,
Angelique Kidjo in her new song ‘Shekere’, a single that has been receiving massive
airwave by fans across the globe.
