Popular Nigeria hip-hop singer and songwriter, Chidinma Ekile has announced that she’s secular music in a bid to focus on gospel music.
Chidinma rose to the spotlight some years ago when she won the popular MTN Project Fame West Africa, she has been releasing hit songs and albums ever since, winning herself some notable awards.
However, the talented singer has been off the big stage for quite some time, a move that has been worrisome for her fans.
Chidinma clocked 30 today, May 2, and gave fans a piece of shocking news via her official Instagram account.
The beautiful screen diva deleted all her previous posts and revamped her page in a way that suits the new genre of music she’s switching to.
According to Chidimma via one of the posts on her page, she’s going to become a crusader of the Gospel Of Jesus Christ. She noted that her new stage name is Minister Chidinma Ekile.
