Hours after award-winning singer, Davido was accused of stealing the hit track ‘jowo’ from fast-rising singer, Victor AD, his lawyer, Bobo F. Ajudua has revealed who wrote the song.
Recall that Davido was in the news some hour ago but not for his tenth anniversary in the industry but for his hit single ‘Jowo’.
According to a fan on micro-blogging site, Twitter, Davido stole the hit song from Victor Ad who was threatened not to speak out or risk his career in the music industry.
The fan also noted that Victor AD revealed the revelation during an interview with HipTv.
Though Victor AD has come out to debunk, noting that he does not know where the report is coming from, Davido’s lawyer has shed more light on the allegations.
Prince Bobo in a new post on his Twitter handle disclosed who owns the song, Jowo and the music video.
“As far as I know, Jowo was performed by Davido, written by David Adeleke & Oladeinde Okubajo aka @Davido & @Deindeofficial and prod by Jerry Jethro & Peter A. Kehinde Emmanuel aka Napji & Majicboi. That’s as far as I know. Don’t shoot me I’m just the guy that did the paperwork :)”.
