Former Liverpool Player and Champions League winner, Gini Wijnaldum is set to join Paris Saint-Germain.
According to Sports Journalist, Fabrizio, Barcelona had a verbal agreement with Gini until June 2024 for two weeks, set to be completed and signed by Wijnaldum in the next few days.
Barça board was also planning to organize medicals in Dutch national team camp next week, then to announce the new signing.
Paris Saint-Germain joined the race in the last three days offering more than doubled salary compared to Barcelona’s bid. The enormous proposal from PSG until June 2024.
Wijnaldum was one step away from joining Barça, but after the conditions changed he just decided to accept the Paris Saint-Germain bid.
Free-agent players can change their minds until they officially sign the final contract.
