No one African Badgal, Tiwa Savage, took to her social media page, to announce the death of her beloved father, Mr Savage.
It’s been a week of emotions running high, and as much as celebrities share good news, some have been thrown into mourning.
Tiwa Savage took to her official Instagram account to share the sad news with fans and followers who will surely be devastated.
The talented singer noted that her father died in the early hours of today, July 19, adding that he fought till the very end.
Sharing a picture she snapped with her father, Tiwa Savage wrote:
Early hours of this morning you made a peaceful transition. You fought till the very end, you really fought daddy, it’s been rough for you these past couple years but you are resting now. This is tough on me, I’m so numb, so weak.

Tiwa’s heart might not be able to bear this loss alone, barely just 3 weeks after her close friend and alleged lover, Obama DMW passed away.
Nigerian legendary singer, Sound Sultan also passed away about 2 weeks ago and last night an emotionally filled candlelight was held for him in Lagos (watch the video here).
