Habeeb Okikiola, also known as Portable, a Nigerian street-hop artist, has admitted that he had solicited donations to disparage Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
He stated this in response to criticism he received for endorsing the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, stating that the situation has since changed.
Remember how the Zazuu star was given money to support Tinubu and the incumbent governor of Osun state, Gboyega Oyetola, in a now-famous viral video?
However, Portable detailed how he was paid to disparage the former governor of Lagos State during the EndSARS rally in a brand-new video.
“If they pay you money, you have to work. I was once paid to insult Tinubu during the protests. That was a long time ago. Now, APC has said Akoi Tinubu.
“If they pay you, do your job, no ripping. When I was asked to insult Tinubu, I collected my money and did my job. Now Tinubu is the next. They’re the ones that gave me money, and I must do the work for the money I collected. Akoi APC,” he said in Yoruba.
