Ayodeji Balogun, better known by his stage name Wizkid, is a well-known Nigerian singer who made history on July 4 by becoming the first African artist to perform as the opening act at the world’s largest gaming tournament, Gamers 8 eSports, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

His followers, who refer to him as “the greatest African artiste,” have reacted to this, causing social media to go crazy.

A few weeks after he was revealed as the headlining act for the upcoming Rolling Loud Festival in Miami, New York, Wizkid gave a performance at the gaming event.

The Rolling Loud festival will run for three days, with Wizkid earmarked to perform alongside his counterparts abroad.

Dave will headline the opening night on September 9th; American rapper Future will follow up with his performance on Saturday, September 10th, while WizKid will close out the three-day festival on September 11th.
