Isaac Aloma junior (aka Zicsaloma), a popular Nigerian skit maker, recently went to Lagos Mainland to shoot one of his skits but was stopped by hoodlums who demanded money from him before allowing him to shoot.
Sharing his experience and videos on his Instagram page, Zicsaloma said that this is what they go through whenever they go out to shoot skits in Lagos. He said that these hoodlums would always demand for money whenever they see them trying to shoot their films in Lagos.
Zicsaloma humbly called on the Lagos state government to help them do something about the harassment. In his words, he wrote;
“Please the Lagos state government needs to do something about these hoodlums harassing film makers and skit makers in Lagos. Once you just bring out cameras, they would come immediately with weapons. They call outrageous amount for you to pay, You will be negotiating with them for hours. Change location small, another set will come. And if you do not pay them for nothing, you can’t shoot. Every Lagosian na Omonile now. It’s tiring.”
