Habeeb Okikiola, better known as Portable, has opened up about his meteoric rise to fame.
In an interview with Echo Room, the controversial singer stated that dancer Poco Lee and singer Olamide did not make him famous. According to him, he became famous on his own because he was already well-known before they approached him.
Speaking on his rise to fame, Portable reemphasized that no one made him who he is today. However, he gave credit to his fans and God for making him who he is today.
Recounting his struggling days, he stated that when people hailed him for being famous, he always disagreed with them as he didn’t have money, a car, or travel the world.
However, now that he has traveled up and down more, he can finally agree that he is famous.
